Boarding With Sand Creek Stables
General Information
Thank you for your interest in boarding with us! While Sand Creek Stables does focus on the "saddle type" breeds,
all types of horses can our farm home and we are open and willing to support boarders in any discipline. As a boarder,
your horses will be stalled in one of our 3 boarding barns (40 stalls per barn) and you will have free access to any facilities
on the grounds at Sand Creek Stables (barring that we are hosting a show!). For our boarders, we also offer turnout seperate from
any Sand Creek Stables-owned horses and there are 5 group turnout pastures and 10 single turnout pastures. Horses wearing rear shoes as
well as stallions will be required to have individual turnout.
Feed is currently provided by Taylor Made Feed, as is hay. Your horses will be submitted to TMF for an evaluation and we will feed them
according to the same specifications that we feed our herd, unless you request otherwise. At current time, we are not equipped with the staff
to train and/or exercise ride your horses. We would much rather focus on your horse having a positive stay and getting the most attention possible
at Sand Creek!
Pricing
Full Board
Includes: Feeding of grain (and hay as needed) 3 times per day, water checked continuously throughout the day, stalls mucked one time per day and
turnout (group or individual) for 6 to 8 hours per day (weather permitting)
Price: $300/month for each horse
Luxury Board
Includes everything full board entails plus grooming of your horse in the morning (daily except for Sundays) and upon owner request (with at least one
hours notice) horse can be tacked up and ready for a ride. Blanketing is also provided and supplements fed daily.
Price: $400/month for each horse
