"Ben" had never gotten a fair chance at his previous barns. All we had ever heard is that he is racky and has a terrible headset. Well, he is a big, beautiful stallion and we were in the market for a plantation horse so we took him home anyways. Shoeing him plantation definately made the fix and for the most part, he is solid in his running walk. He still will rack from time to time (when you let him get out of his headset) but if you keep him set up in the bridle, he will make an impressive showing. Ben is pretty calm for a young stallion and we hope his first breeding season in 2008 will not ruin that aspect of his personality. We are extremely excited about introducing Ben to Riata.
