Information
"Regal" was a purchase that at first, Sand Creek Stables, was not eager to make. Aside from the fact that he sired our extremely talented mare Regal Sunrise Que Sera he did not have a good recommendation to his name. All of his prior trainers called him incorrigible and difficult to handle around other horses of all genders. We bought him to hopefully just stand at stud but after spending a great deal of time with him, we determined that he might be able to be a reformed show horse. Regal is still hard to handle and full of himself in the show ring, but with an experienced rider he makes an unforgettable show. Regal exhibits tremendous overstirde and drive off his hocks, as well as a spectacular front end. We are extremely excited for him to get some experience in the show ring and to hopefully settle down a little bit.
