Information
We were lucky to purchase "Pride" in an auction of the NCSU equine herd when he was 3 years old. He has always been big and gangly but we knew he came out of a top notch sire in Woodruth's Pride (also sire to Sand Creek's Woodruth's Oasis and Midnight Remembrance) and one of the top producing Thoroughbred mares for NCSU. We started him under saddle at 4 years old and waited to start him over fences until he was 6 and he has flourished since them. Pride may be lacking in form over fences but with his speed, ground covering stride, and nerve he is the perfect show jumping competitor. Pride is not scared of anything that you put in front of him and so long as the rider does not get intimidated, he will not quit. Look for this leggy, aggressive stallion at your next show jumping competition.
